Born in San Diego, Ballast Point is dedicated to supporting our local community. While we’d love to support every single cause, due to the large volume of requests we receive and the nature of our business, we have established guidelines to help facilitate the donation approval process. Due to legal regulations, we are only able to donate cash or beer to charitable organizations.
Before you fill out the donation request form, please make sure you meet all the following criteria. There will be no exceptions. Thank you for your understanding.
- Your organization must have a current 501c3 status. You will be required to submit a copy of the IRS determination letter and W9 which verifies the non-profit status of your organization.
- In order to obtain/serve any beer at your event, you MUST obtain a one-day ABC license. To find out if you need to obtain a temporary permit for your California located event, please check your local ABC District Office.
- All requests must be submitted at least 30 days prior to your event date
- Beer must be picked up at our Miramar, San Diego location at a pre-arranged date and time.
