Virtual Beginner Brew Class ($25 – 3 hrs)
These classes are perfect for the first time brewer or an extract brewer that wants to step up their game. Participants will watch every step of an extract brew day while our instructor covers topics such as maximizing the quality of extract beers, improving yeast health, and the differences between extract, all grain, and commercial brewing. We also offer guidance and a recipe for anyone that would like to brew-a-long (please see note on brewing safety below)!

UPCOMING DATES:

A NOTE ON SAFETY:
If you choose to brew along with our instructor during the class, please be very aware of your own safety. Though we do our best to schedule our class so that it’s easy to follow along with each step through our virtual format, we have no way of controlling your stove or your actions. So, remember:
  • When your wort is coming up to a boil, keep your eye on it. Boil-overs can make a mess, but they can also harm your stove or yourself if you are not careful.
  • Take extreme care in handling glass carboys. These containers are heavy when full, slippery when wet, and extremely dangerous when broken.
  • It’s customary to toast your newest batch with a pint from the previous brew, but save most of your celebratory drinking for after everything is clean. Neither your beer’s quality nor your safety is improved by over-indulgence.

For more information on brewing safety, Brew Your Own magazine posted a great article, check it out here.

Advanced Brew Class ($35 – 4 hrs)
This class is great for anyone looking for the hands-on experience. We’ll give you an up-close-and-personal look at a “continuous sparge” all-grain setup and brew day. This is ideal for the experienced extract or brew-in-a-bag brewer who is ready to upgrade but wants to see the process from start to finish in person. Participants will see an all-grain brew day using a 3-tier brewing system.

UPCOMING DATES:
